3-D Shoot

Join us for a 3-D Tournament! The third Saturday of each month, we meet at 9 a.m. for an exciting competition where archers shoot at life-sized foam animal targets placed at varying distances and angles throughout our beautiful course. Entry fee for Members is $10, Non Members $20. Kids are free.

About the event
The tournament takes place on a wooded trail within our beautiful conservation area where targets are strategically positioned at different elevations, behind obstacles, or in realistic settings. The foam animal targets- such as deer, bears, turkeys or even alligators- are designed with scoring rings. Archers compete in different categories based on bow type (compound, recurve, traditional).
Participants walk the course in small groups, shooting one arrow per target. Scores are recorded on provided score cards as arrows are retrieved. We use a 'shot unknown' format, where distances are not marked, requiring archers to judge the shot for themselves.
After the course is completed, participants turn the score cards in to be recorded and displayed on a main board.
Youth Archers will be announced and celebrated with a small award.
